Grant has more than a decade of experience developing and implementing spatial software solutions within local government, forestry and the telecommunication field. Prior to joining Ecotrust Canada, Grant was a GIS analyst for the City of Vancouver, a systems developer for INFORM Network for Management Systems, and a programmer analyst with Autodesk Canada.
 
Grant employs technology to promote land resource management through mapping and data sharing over the web. Grant also works with end-users to understand technical requirements with the goal of developing intuitive user-friendly applications, and supports project implementation through software customization and training.
 
When not at work, Grant enjoys spending time with his family, and can sometimes be found scuba diving in the deep seas or flying above mountains in his paraglider.
