From mid-April to the end of May, 2011, Ecotrust Canada participated in a series of web-based presentations on First Nations and Carbon hosted by the Centre for Environment, in collaboration with The First Nations Carbon Collaborative (FNCC).

On May 25, Neil Hughes, Forestry Program Director at Ecotrust Canada, presented Forest Carbon Offsets, A Case Study in Clayoquot Sound. Videos of all the presentations are available at

The presentations enable people to learn more about carbon trading, financing and carbon projects. The purpose of the First Nations and Carbon webinar series was to bring together First Nations, carbon specialists, government and environmental groups to share information regarding their projects and policies for carbon and emissions trading, science and financing.
