Becoming FSC certified has never been easier and more cost effective thanks to a new service provided by Ecotrust Canada. FSC or Forest Stewardship Council certification is a globally recognized, market-based system that is the “gold standard” for ecoforestry.

Ecotrust Canada is certified as an FSC Group Manager and has organized two FSC certification groups. We assist group members with acquiring and maintaining FSC certification and provide expertise in market development. Through centralized administration and economies of scale, we have dramatically sped up the certification process and reduced costs for small- and medium-sized operators.

Whether you run a woodlot, private forestland, sawmill, printer or value-added wood manufacturer, we can provide you with membership in one of our certification groups that will allow you to brand your products as FSC certified.
