Ian Gill, President of Ecotrust Canada, speaks about privatization and the environmental impacts of run-of-river independent power projects in BC.

On May 19, 2009, Ecotrust Canada, the Taleawtxw Aboriginal Capital Corporation (TACC) and the Tribal Resources Investment Corporation (Tricorp) announced the establishment of the First Nation Regeneration Fund to help generate renewable energy in BC and regenerate Aboriginal economies by financing First Nation equity stakes in run-of-river independent power projects.
