Ecotrust Canada is pleased to announce that Living Proof: The Essential Data-Collection Guide to Indigenous Use-and-Occupancy Map Surveys by Terry N.Tobias has won a prestigous national award. The Alcuin Society Award for Best Book Design in Canada recognizes excellence in book design, and comes with national and international exposure through a “world tour” beginning in the Fall of 2010.

Gregory Kehm, Program Director, Knowledge Systems and Planning at Ecotrust Canada, noted: “Working with Skipp Design Inc. we took the book production and design as seriously and with as much care as its content. We wanted the material to be approachable to the reader, and beautifully presented. We are thrilled with the recognition and appreciative of the exposure this award brings.”

Living Proof was produced as a partnership between Ecotrust Canada and the Union of BC Indian Chiefs, and released in March 2010. To order the book, please click here.
