Anab Siraj is currently pursuing her MSc degree in Rural Planning and Development at the University of Guelph. She received her BA in International Development from the same institution, specializing in rural development. In the past, she has worked in West Africa as a Monitoring and Evaluation officer with Education Development Center (EDC). Her research interests include agri-food systems, resilience, and climate change.
Anab will be working as a summer intern as the Food Entrepreneurship Program Development Project Coordinator in partnership with Hecate Strait Employment Development Society. She will also be working on the urban farm project in downtown Prince Rupert.
