Growing up in Prince Rupert, BC, on Coast Ts’mysen Territory, Kellan has been an active member of his community for years.
Having recently finished high school, Kellan has now begun pursuing full-time employment with both Ecotrust Canada and Northern Savings Credit Union to save up for Capilano University’s Fall 2023 Film Program. Since he was nine years old, he has wanted to be a filmmaker. Now, at 18, he has multiple award-nominated films under his belt, and real on-set film experience. Kellan is always working on a new project to keep his ‘gears turning’.
Kellan was brought on board the Ecotrust Canada team in May 2023, as part of the Canada Summer Jobs program. He works as a communications specialist, shooting and editing photos and videos. He is excited to continue his work, gaining valuable experience in his chosen field and becoming more acquainted with the community he calls home.
In his off-time, Kellan enjoys playing drums for Ring System Music Studio, reading comic books, and obsessing over his creative passions.
