The Community Energy Initiative’s Retrofits Program works with rural, remote, and Indigenous communities to improve household energy security. This involves reducing energy expenses and improving the health and comfort of homes by installing energy efficient heating, cooling systems, and making improvements to the homes themselves. The program aims to connect local expertise and knowledge with energy efficiency training and mentorship to achieve sustainable and resilient community energy futures.
