Caylin Sun, Program Manager, Climate Innovation

Caylin is a passionate environmental and social justice advocate who strives to advance climate action through both professional and personal projects. Growing up in Guangzhou, China and moving to Canada at the age of 18 has given her international perspectives and a desire to help build an inclusive and sustainable future for all.

Caylin graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Sustainability Management, and previously obtained her Bachelors in Media, Information and Technoculture at Western University. Throughout her education, she utilized her interdisciplinary background and skills in storytelling communications on pilot programs in climate engagement, education, and youth mentorship. Since then, Caylin has worked in corporate sustainability and the Tech for Nature program during her time at RBC, and as a Policy Analyst at ClearBlue Markets providing analysis on the latest developments of Canadian carbon markets.

Caylin believes in the power of knowledge sharing and creative expression, and she enjoys meeting other sustainability-minded individuals, as well as gardening, and playing badminton. She is grateful to live on the traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit, Anishinaabe, Chippewa, Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat Peoples.
