Born and raised in Terrace, BC, Chelsey grew up surrounded by nature and developed a deep respect for the natural world. Upon moving to Prince Rupert in 2007, Chelsey attended Northwest Community College and graduated with a diploma in Coastal Resource Management. She spent several seasons as a dockside observer.
During the time spent off work raising her young children, Chelsey fell in love with gardening and the peace and food security it brought. This love quickly grew into an obsession as her once tiny home garden enveloped every spare bit of space on her urban lot. She is very excited to bring her passion for growing to Ecotrust Canada as the new Greenhouse Coordinator.
In her off time, Chelsey can be found in her home studio creating stained glass art, painting, writing, or working and playing in her garden alongside her family.
