Connor is an experienced researcher dedicated to supporting a resilient local food economy on the North Coast of British Columbia. His current work centres on enhancing access to local seafood through shellfish and seaweed aquaculture initiatives. As a professional engineer with an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, Connor previously specialized in the research and development of waste heat recovery technologies.
Before joining Ecotrust Canada, he spent three years sharing his love of the outdoors in over 20 remote Indigenous communities with Spirit North. Connor values opportunities to teach and learn, and thrives doing direct, impactful work.
He is grateful to live, work, and play on unceded Coast Ts’msyen territory in Prince Rupert, BC.
