Graham Anderson,
Director of Community Energy

Graham is an entrepreneur with a passion for solutions that conserve resources, improve livelihoods, and support healthy communities. Graham joined Ecotrust Canada in 2015 as a Financial Strategist supporting business planning and financial analysis across all program areas. In 2017, Graham worked in partnership with Heiltsuk First Nation to pilot the retrofit of community homes with high-efficiency heat pumps. This project underlined the need for solutions to support energy security in rural and Indigenous communities across British Columbia, laying the foundation for the launch of Ecotrust Canada’s Community Energy Initiative in 2018.

Graham brings twelve years of hands-on experience leading, launching, and expanding social enterprises to this role. He is a Co-founder of Shift Delivery, an innovative company that uses cargo tricycles for goods distribution, he has served on the board of several non-profit and co-operative organizations, and he played an early role with Climate Smart, an Ecotrust Canada initiative. Graham studied Economics, Dialogue, and Sustainable Community Development at Simon Fraser University.
